General scope: This document sets out product-specific service terms that supplement the general Terms of Service, AUP, and other applicable documents. By ordering and using the service, the customer accepts the following supplementary terms in relation to this product.
Scope of Service
This document applies to shared web hosting, WordPress hosting, and reseller hosting services.
1. Resource Usage and Fair Use
Hosting services are provided on shared infrastructure. CPU, RAM, disk I/O, process count, and file/inode usage may be monitored by the system.
- Abnormal or consistently high usage that affects other customers may be throttled.
- Temporary restriction, suspension, or a migration recommendation may be applied.
- Shared hosting may not be used as a platform for intensive background workloads or general-purpose computing infrastructure.
Plan-specific resource limits (storage quota, bandwidth, inode limits, etc.) are published on the product or plan page. RYSTAT may update these limits with prior notice in order to maintain service quality. Where changes adversely affect existing customers, at least 30 days' notice will be given.
2. Storage and Permitted Use
The hosting service is designed primarily for hosting website content and associated application files.
- Large file archives unrelated to the web, external backup storage, or storage-only use may be restricted.
- Excessive inode usage, heavy media archives, and automated external source synchronisations may be throttled.
3. Email and Message Delivery
- Spam, unverified list sending, open relay, and abusive email activities are prohibited.
- Hourly or daily sending limits may be enforced by the system; applicable limits are stated on the product or plan page.
- Accounts engaged in activities that damage IP reputation may be suspended.
For bulk marketing email sent via a hosting plan, please refer to the Business Email Service Terms. A dedicated business email product is recommended for high-volume sending.
4. Application Security
It is the customer's responsibility to keep CMS platforms, themes, plugins, scripts, and customer applications up to date.
- Where malware or phishing content is detected as a result of a vulnerability, access may be restricted.
- Where necessary, measures such as malicious file clean-up, access suspension, or password reset may be applied.
5. Reseller Accounts
- Reseller users are responsible for the usage of sub-accounts, support coordination, and abuse violations.
- Resource violations or spam incidents in sub-accounts may also affect the reseller account.
6. Backups
RYSTAT may provide system-level backup mechanisms; however, the customer is required to maintain their own independent backups. Restoration capacity, scope, and historical versions may vary depending on the product type.
